I have made an enclosure for the outside dehumidifier.
The roof is a circle and the curved wall is half the diameter in length. When the wind blows the rain sideways I can pull the wall along its tracks because though its primary concern is water, the dehumidifier is not waterproof. I could be tracking the heaviness of rain if I set a constant. If I kept the humidity in my house stable and then ran the dehumidifier for an allotment of hours and recorded how much water was sucked. Or, I just like to witness opposing forces. What a marvel is a downpour when the hum of a device is drowned. The tank fills and I empty it. I empty the dehumidifier again and again. It keeps raining.
